The #1 Man in my life just returned from his Uinta hiking trip with 12 of his scouts and his 3 assistants. It was a hard hike, straight up Bald Mountain, but he returned safe and sound. No missing scouts, no hurt leaders, and the building up of a group of youth.
The #2 Man in My life, Blake, went on our Stake Pioneer Trek this week. He said it was awesome! He loved the family and company he was in. They all formed a unity that he felt helped them make it through the week. They were able to overcome mobs, crossing rivers, hiking long miles, and pushing handcarts like the pioneers. We are grateful to his leaders for putting it all together and giving our kids a great spiritual experience.
