We're Having Lots of Fun!

Sam won her soccer game today 7-6. I like this Indoor Soccer. It is fast paced and fun to watch!

Doug was finally released as Scoutmaster after 4 years, 2 months, and 14 days. He was getting really comfortable, so the Bishop thought he would like a new challenge. Little did the Bishop know he gave Doug his "dream calling." He is now the Emergency Preparedness Specialist for our ward. Emergency Preparedness is a passion of Doug's. He loves researching and finding out the latest "survival" stuff. He was like a kid at Christmas. Now the ward has a blog and all kinds of resources at the fingertips to help their families prepare.

I'm learning lots of new things with Primary. My mind just doesn't shut off. I wish I were a more in-tune person during daylight hours, because these 3 am epiphanies are making me very tired!

Blake is home from El Paso and had a wonderful service experience. He liked the Women's & Children's crisis center the best. He enjoyed playing with all the children and seeing their smiling faces. They served dinner in a soup kitchen, which proved to be an enlightening experience. Sometimes after protecting our children for so long, the harsh realities of life are a good teacher.
