Day 10- San Diego Zoo

Today we headed back to San Diego to see the zoo. The Ellis family along with about 19,999 people also toured the park today. Thank heaven for those buses that enable you to see the park without walking the entire way. I had a horrible side ache that has been bugging me for days, so that is the only way I got through it. At least the kids saw the animals, right? They are so tired from the last 5 days of fun that they didn't seem to care.
The kids were doing the flamingo legs, but Doug cut them out.
Don't they all look so happy? They should be with all the things that they have experienced the last week. One cool thing is we got to see the San Diego temple as we were heading down I-5. It was a surprise to us!

**Funny note: While on the bus tour of the zoo, the driver says that the park is pro-conservation...yada...yada (you know what Doug thinks). So she explains that they even recycle the elephant poo and make stationary, frames, etc. The driver says to us all as we get ready to get off..."don't forget to pick up your elephant poo frame at the gift shop before you leave the park today." Sydney very quietly says to herself, "I'm not picking that up!" I'm laughing as I write this.

Sydney is quite funny, always says what she thinks. Sorry about your side ache, I hope you feel better soon! you'll have to ask Chad about his experience with the San Diego Zoo (not very pleasant) By the way, thanks for the email. (Chad finds himself pretty hilarious)
