Today was spent in the Pacific Ocean at a place called Paradise by the Sea. We lucked out and got a RV spot just a short walk to the beach. It also worked out great, because it is closer to San Diego where we went to Sea World and hope to go to the zoo tomorrow. We woke up early this a.m. to stake out our beach site, because these people are serious about their 4th of July picnic. Our kids loved playing in the waves and sand. They are all nice and brown now. 4th of July is Doug's favorite holiday. We love our country and are very proud to be Americans!

Sam loved making sand castles. She & Syd decorated it with lots of seaweed.
