The last thing my college roommate Alison said before she departed Iceberg last night was that Barstow was God-forsaken country. She wasn't far off the mark! This place is hot. I mean back to Africa, dust flying, nothing growing..hot! The pool, however, is fabulous! This is just a one night stop before heading to Anaheim tomorrow. Weather.com says Anaheim is only 80 degrees, so we're liking that! We haven't gotten our plan of attack on what to do first, so we'll update you as we go.

That is all that I remember about Barstow is that it is HOT!!! I'm happy that you were able to make the most of it!
Doug looks like a regular to Barstow. Is he from there?
