Warm Winter Getaway

Doug & I love to take off in the middle of winter to somewhere warm and tropical. Well, let's say it was my one requirement when we moved to Utah and I knew that snow was pretty much a staple for at least 6 months of the year. Having said that, we've really enjoyed escaping our winters to new and exotic places. This year our destination was Palm Springs, California. It was a beautiful oasis in the middle of the California desert. We ate outside, went to see the broadway show Gypsy, swam in the pool, and went to an outdoor fair. It was so peaceful and serene. I even read 3 books while lounging by the pool for 3 days. Thanks to Doug's parents who stayed with the kids this trip.

Other trips we might suggest are cruises in the Caribbean, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, Florida, Jamaica or now Palm Springs. If you ever need a couple to go anywhere tropical with sandy beaches, palm trees and outdoor eating places, then put us on your list. We'll have our bags packed before you can say "Pina colada!"
