Humanitarian Trip to Ecuador

Sam & Meghan Bice are excited to begin our journey to Ecuador.
Ecuadorian Taxi!

Sam preparing to help take our newborn kits to the hospital. Sam is holding up one of the baby hats we made over Christmas break to give.

Sam, Ms. Martinez, and Carlo Okolowitz at one of the drop-off centers for orphans. Notice the Llamas in the background!

Sam & Ms. Martinez in the open-air taxi!

This little guy was one of the recipients of "the mansion." Isn't he cute?

We helped build this little girl a new house. We also gave her a doll to play with while we worked!

This little baby girl was one of the recipients of our newborn kits. They wanted to take my picture with the baby, since I got to give them the kit.

This little guy had RSV, but they let us in the room anyway.

Our trip to the Ibarra Hospital! It was quite different than the one in Otavala.

Chaperone Power! Pat was amazing to travel with.

Our group in our little South American hotel. Love the open courtyards!

Church day! Amazing spirit. The two missionaries were from other South American countries.

Sam & Baby Isabella (10 months). She is so under-nourished that she definitely doesn't look 10 months.

Galapagas Islands. Sam & Christian on the island of Floriana.

Love the Giant Tortoise.

Emma, Sam & Meghan on the island of Isabella. 85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

Right after snorkeling. Notice the volcanic rock! We saw starfish, marine iquana, stingray, dolphin, whale, tortoises

Isn't that background awesome! Our fun little group!

As the sun sets, so is the end of our Humanitarian experience.

We may have finished our project, but the spirit of the trip will live on!
