Philadelphia--the City of Brotherly Love

The skyline of Philadelphia from a double-decker bus. This is an old city. I tried Jim's cheese steaks with the "whiz" like Mike Riss told me too. It was pretty good for someone who doesn't usually order "cheese steaks." It was definitely in an "older" part of town.

We did the Independence Hall tour where we got to see some original rough drafts of the Declaration of Independence and Articles of Confederation. We got to see where they signed.

There is a controversy of Betsy Ross' involvement with the flag. Here was her home.

Couldn't go away without a picture of the first hospital in American founded by Ben Franklin. He was quite "the fellow."

Our group. Betty Ann, Gigi, me, Kay, Jennifer & Gene.

We couldn't miss the Liberty Bell. I can tell I'm back in the humidity, b/c the hair has a mind of its own! Luckily our tour day had temperatures in the 70s, so it was a nice day to walk around!
