Blake loses his Wisdom

Thank heaven there is a doctor in the house, well ward at least. Thanks to Dr. Bill McBee for taking such good care of Blake today. As we did our summer dental appointments, our dentist recommended that Blake see an oral surgeon about taking out his wisdom teeth. After a consult with Dr. McBee, it was determined that now was the time to go ahead and get that taken care of. So today, Blake and I headed to the office and had his wisdom teeth removed. Thanks to Dani Riss for babysitting Sydney, so that was one less thing to worry about.

Blake was nervous and chatty with the nurse at first. Blake hates needles, so the IV part was making him even more nervous. Dr. McBee came in and numbed his arm and popped that IV right in without Blake even flinching, of course the laughing gas didn't hurt either! Then boom, boom, boom and Blake was out like a light. The funny part was listening to him in recovery. He was talking loud and not making any sense at all. I was dying laughing. When we got to the pharmacy to fill his pain pills, he was starting to get more with it and hurt. Lucky for him, Sonic was next door to give him a little shake and then he could take his pills. Now he's sleeping like a baby! Can't wait to see those chubby cheeks!

Paid meds are awsome. I slept for 2 days on half of a percocet when I got mine pulled. It was great. I woke up 2 days later feeling like new. Dani was sure excited to see her name pop up i someone elses blog!!
