Doug is picking the kids up at the bottom of the hill to take them back to the top!It has been a fun tradition to come to Island Park and snowmobile for New Years! We invited all our friends to join us, but only the Kings decided to take us up on our offer. They arrived last night around 3:15 pm just in time to unpack, dress the kids in their snow clothes, make snow caves and have dinner! We played games and the adults did a bowling Wii tournament (Kings have never played although they have a Wii)! We then stopped long enough to try and watch the ball drop in NYC, but the local station cut it off 1 minute before it dropped. Can you believe it? LAME! Oh well, we drank our cider, gave out kisses and tucked the kids in and went to bed.
This is Syd right before she wiped out!Today, Doug took the Kings (minus 2 of their kids) out to Mesa Falls. I stayed home b/c I needed to finish my lesson plan for Monday's classes. It is snowing so hard today, that I don't mind!

The Kerby's would have taken you up on that offer, oh well, being friendless gives you plenty of opportunity to read the TV guide.
