Panic Mode

I have resorted to listening to Christmas music today, because I can't bear to look at the TV for fear of breaking out in hives or into tears. I'm saving my agony for tonight, when I will tune in to see the state of affairs for the next 4 years. The black/white issue never bothered me, because I grew up in the south and that matters not to me. What bothers me is the move toward socialism. Moreover, what my children are going to have to live through if indeed this is the turn of our government. I was very disturbed to hear that because I don't support "spreading the wealth" that I was selfish. WHAT? Obama must not have heard of the "Mormon" faith at all, or he would know we give at least 10% of our earnings to our church, in addition to paying our 40% to Uncle Sam. Not to mention all the other things we try to do in order to be "good Americans." I don't have a problem with sharing with my neighbors, but for the government to decide where my money goes and not me just irks me! So yes, today I am in total panic mode! As I sit hear listening to Christmas music trying to calm my nerves (Christmas is my favorite holiday), my heart and my prayers are for all of us and our children. May God have mercy on us today!

I am with you. Though not on the Christmas music, not until after Thanksgiving! At least there was one good thing, I am so happy that prop 8 passed.

I know how you are feeling... I totally agree with you and worry so much about our business, but mainly my children. They are going up in scary times. Thankfully Prop 8 passed here in California or else we would probably be neighbors soon! (hey... that sounds fun!)

I agree 100000%!!!! It is quite a scary thing and sad that our nation could vote for someone who stands for all the wrong things. It now an "Obamanation" here in the good old USA. At least Prop 8 did pass. We were working hard here. Signs of the times.
