For Halloween this year, Blake is going to go as a Pontiff. I hope he doesn't offend anyone, but he wore it so well. He reminds me of the guy from the Godfather. He had to come up with something original for his high school costume contest. I don't think I have ever seen a costume like this!Sydney has decided to be Supergirl (picture later). Sam has decided since she is doing the no candy for a year, that she will be our doorbell greeter and candy giver. Ashlyn will probably be a witch. She is also doing the no candy thing, so she'll give all of her candy to me to take to work or it will be bribery for Doug's scouts.
This week Ashlyn got braces. She has been waiting for a long time for this day. Most of the week she was in pain. In honor of Halloween, she got purple and black bands.

WOW why the no candy? Good for them, and for a whole year? Holy Cow such will power, way to go!!!
I am so proud of your kids for doing the whole no candy thing. I need to find a way to have that much self control.
Welcome to the pain club girl!! :) Wish I had braces when I was younger, WEAR YOUR RETAINERS so you dont have to be 24 with braces!! WE MISS YOU GUYS!! We live so close but with pete so busy with school and one car, im a loser @ home :) We will for sure see you @ thanksgiving though!!
