Yes, the child finally passed the darn written test and has his official permit. Now, he bugs anyone who will listen to take him out to achieve his hours towards driving. Grandpa Ellis traded in his beloved Corvette today, but before that Blake was able to drive the beloved red convertible! So, watch out world......here comes Blake!
WE want to wish our wonderful friend Annie a HAPPY, HAPPY Birthday! WE LOVE ANNIE! Our kids hope we will leave sometime soon, so Annie & Jimmy can come over and stay with them. Annie is a fabulous friend. She's always doing such wonderful things for others without ever thinking of herself. She is an angel sent here to earth and will walk right back into heaven without any hiccups! Jimmy sure got a great one when he married Annie. Happy Birthday, girl! WE sure love ya!
We also celebrated our friend Laura's birthday while at Lake Powell. Laura doesn't like to be the center of attention, but she deserves some praise just the same! Laura is such a good friend and I love her! Mike, her husband, gave her a Cinderella cake for her birthday b/c she's such a beautiful princess! Sydney, of course, thought she scored BIG on that one.
After a fun weekend, it was back to work as usual. Doug is busy hanging fans, winterizing the boat and on to the RV (after the trip to the dentist---love ya Marc) tomorrow. Whew! Isn't it time for another vacation yet?

Doesn't that scare you to death that he will be driving? Jacob can't get his till 15 1/2(in Cal.), but with football and school hasn't had time to deal with it (and I'm not pushing). It's not him I worry about, it's all the other people that don't know how to drive!!!
Blake is a lucky guy, I have been driving for 18 years and Grandpa has still never let me drive the vet, in fact I have never even ridden in it.
Thank you for all the nice things you said. Love you too and all the fun we have together! I hope it lasts for a long time :>
Robyn you are so sweet. Your totally right about Annie she is so sweet. I miss that girl. Does she have a blog too? I can'tbelieve Blake has a permit! WOW! awesome for him. Tell him congrats and i'll be sure to "stay off the sidewalks" (thats what my dad always said when I started driving!
