This week I am at a conference in San Antonio, Texas. It's an education conference for faculty development for my new job. I've had some great classes and some that were a little lacking. When it was lacking, I quietly slipped out and into another class that sounded interesting. I am excited to put some of the new things I learned to use in the classroom. Besides the Alamo, one of the greatest things about the area of our hotel is the riverwalk. Our hotel is right along it. We took a little boat ride down the river to get a better view. We've eaten outside every night and the weather has been wonderful. Tonight we're going to the IMAX to see the movie on the Alamo and tomorrow during break the ladies want to go to SeaWorld. I've done the SeaWorld thing in Florida & San Diego, so I don't know if I'm up for another visit with Shamu but these ladies I'm with are sure fun! Thank heaven for Doug who is keeping it all together with the kids at home, so I can do this. Good luck to the purple team (Doug is the captain) tonight at the annual ward kickball tournament!

Yes you should be proud, Purple won!!! I was wondering where you were, it sounds like your having a great time. By the way I would hardly call me a celebrity maybe crazy would be more appropriate, I swear what I get myself into sometimes. Like I don't have enough on my plate as it is. Have a safe trip!!!
