On our way from Klamath to Redding, we passed through the Shasta National Forest where all the fires have been reported as of late. Here is a birdseye view of the devastation. Smoke is heavy in the air, but the roads were clear. It is 106 here in Redding...Klamath was 61. Of course, we jumped right into the pool when we got here. We're off to Reno tomorrow to visit Doug's brother, Greg.
