I must report that Sam's team the Shockerz won their first game 1-0. Way to go Sam!
Next, Doug related this funny story to me over dinner:
Doug did carpool this afternoon for Sydney's school. When she got in the car, Sydney asked "Where is mom?" Doug says, "Mom is in a meeting." Sydney says, "At work?" Doug says, "Yes." She says, "Good, it's about time she got a job!" Doug says, "What about me?" She says, "You already have a job." He said, "What job?" She said, "Your working at McDonalds." Doug had teased her the week before that he was going to work at her favorite restaurant. With her being the caboose, we've been at her constant beck and call for the last 6 years. So this was so random. We both now have projects/jobs we're working on, so it is back to reality!

So Donny had been looking for a job. how much does McDonalds pay? haha Sydney is so cute. Congrats to Sam on her game. I played soccer when i was younger. I love it!
That is hilarious... that's why I love these blogs so we can post it and remember the funny things our kids say! I hope you guys can come to HB next summer!! I'm bummed we missed you!
