Guess what? Just when I thought Oregon had lost the sun, we found it again today on the way out of Newport. Just in time for us to get on the jet boats in Gold Beach. We raced out of Newport early this morning in order to get to Gold Beach for our 2 pm reservation on the jet boat. I was so worried that we were going to freeze like we have been all week, but my prayers were answered and the sun came out! I think we even hit the 70 degree mark today.
The kids loved it when our pilot would twirl us around and we all got wet!This trip we got to see river otters, deer, a black bear, black-tailed deer, osprey and bald eagles.
