Blake was the first one out the door this a.m. To say he was excited would be a HUGE understatement. I don't think he or any of the rest of our kids got much sleep last night in anticipation of this day. After being friend deprived the entire summer, they were relishing the thought of spending time with those they haven't seen in 2 months (even if it meant having to deal with homework). Blake is a sophomore this year. He tries out for the golf team today, which he was also excited about, but he is most excited about getting his driving permit. Am I really that old? His carpool arrives at 7:10 am and we're very lucky to have great parents & kids in it!

Sydney is going to a new school this year. She has a bit of focus issues, so we're hoping a smaller school environment will help her stay on track. She's smart as a whip, but has some problems concentrating on the task at hand. She gets to wear uniforms, eat lunch at school, and ride in her own carpool. She has been waiting for all day school all summer long.

The twins were up 2 hours before school trying to figure out what to wear and how to do their hair for the 1st day of school. They are the "seniors" in their elementary school, as they are in the 6th grade. Each got the teacher they desired, so we're off to a great start. They also get to carpool with their favorite family, The Wisners'.

Cute Kids! I love the excitement of the first day of school, I just wish it lasted alot longer! Hey tell Blake that I was on my High School Golf team!! Great memories and a ton of fun, the only difference was I was in AZ golfing in 112 degree heat and we weren't aloud to have golf carts. I still loved every minuted of it...Good luck!!!
