Miracle Pageant in Manti

We decided at the last minute to pack up the 2 kids that are home (what a breeze) and the dog and head down to Manti for the Miracle pageant. Since we are going to miss the Palmyra pageant by about a week, we thought this would be our chance to see this historical enactment. I haven't been to this pageant since I was in a BYU singles ward and we came down for FHE.
Sydney and Blake each had a bunk bed on the way down, so there was no fighting over TVs.

We took a little walk downtown Manti. It is a cute town that gets real excited about this pageant. There are tons of people here in our campground. It looks like family reunion time. Above is the beautiful Manti temple. To the left on the grounds is where the pageant takes place that tells about Christ and the Restoration of the Gospel. It turned out to be a beautiful day here.
What a nice day to see a Miracle pageant. I'm excited for the kids to see it! Above is the Angel Moroni with the Gold Plates w/ the Manti temple in the background.

What a great trip! I love Manti and I love that pageant. (I haven't been since I was in Jr. High) I bet Sydney loved the undivided attention. And what a way to travel!!!!
