Friends & Fun

As I have mentioned previously, we have some awesome friends! We always get together to celebrate each other's special occasions. To celebrate Jerome & my June birthday, 5 couples got together and went out to eat and did our annual bowling night. I didn't stink this time, so that was something to be happy about!!! It was a lot of fun and it made for a great weekend!

Jerome, Marc, Doug & Mike look thrilled, don't they? Did I mention we won 3 free games of bowling b/c we're all awesome at bowling scavenger...something or other? Don't ask me why the picture below is larger than the rest, b/c I don't have a clue.













On Saturday, we had an engagement BBQ for Marcia Armstrong & Clive Chidester, who are getting married June 28th. It was fun to hang out in the backyard with our neighbors and here their courtship story. It brought lots of questions and stories out that might not normally get told. It was fun for me! Congrats to them! We wish them lifelong happiness, health and harmony!
It was also flag day yesterday, so you know what that means. Doug woke up at 6 am, so that he and his assistants and 3 deacons could put a flag in everyone's yard. Luckily, most of their quorum showed up to put them down! I love seeing those flags wave. I also bought our annual flag tees from Old Navy, so we all had to wear them (it's tradition).
