Day 2 of our Ellis Family Vacation took us on the Colorado River. We went with Canyon Voyages out of Moab for a 1/2 day river rafting trip. It was great! We also rented a duckie to go along-side of the raft. A duckie is a blow up canoe. The twins loved riding with their dad in it. The water is high right now, so the river is really moving! The rafting company gave us a nice lunch and then we floated down the river for about 3 hours. The rapids were a pleasant, family-sized wave that kept us cool, but not soaked or scared. We highly recommend this for your next family fun! We ended the night with the Ice Cream Social in the KOA campground. The kids made a few friends at the pool and on the river, so they are going to socialize.
