While the men are away, the wives do play! While our husbands are working or camping and the kids are home all day on spring break, we moms really do need to do something to keep the house from falling down around us. Everytime I hear my kids say they are bored, then I make them go clean something. They've learned to stop saying it.So, while Doug is out camping with the scouts, 4 gal pals took all their wonderful children to see Nim's Island. I can see why the men wouldn't mind we did this. It saved them from yet another kid movie! However, it was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was one of those can't wait to buy it on DVD movies, but it was okay. If you're with a 5 year old though, invest in the BIG bucket of popcorn.
The rest of spring break is filled with cleaning out the closets, going through the summer clothes, taking a load to DI, and shopping for summer sandals (the weather broke 50 yesterday)!

I took my girls to it too, well my older ones while Chad took the younger ones to Horton Hears a Who. I liked Nims Island. But I definately agree, the big tub of popcorn is a must as well as a few Milk Duds!
