Food Storage

Doug told me yesterday that our local Priesthood leaders encouraged the Bishops to tell all of us to get at least 3 months supply of canned goods into our food storage (besides your wheat etc.). That means if our kids eat canned corn every day, then we need 90 cans of corn etc. So off to Costco Doug went. Lucky for me, Doug loves the Emergency Preparedness stuff!

Another scary thing Doug found was that there is a shortage of wheat and rice. He went to Emergency Essentials and a few of the websites he normally frequents and found that wheat was all back-ordered. Even the local stores were out. Luckily he found 45 pound buckets at our local grocery store that stocks Emergency Supplies (you got to love Utah).
